Day at sea
Today was cloudy so we gambled (and lost) a bit, watched a movie, hung out.
Drinks with Marshall and Leslie. One of the stoughton locals tried to get dad to do karaoke. He didn't.
Tonight we went to Japanese steak house and I have to say mom is quite adept at chopsticks now.

Meat on a stick
Last night we went to the churraseria. I've never been to one. It is an out of control food fest and I am still full this am. You flip this card to green when you are ready for the meatfest to start and red when you are done. We didn't even try all the kinds of meat on a stick they had. There were 2 kinds of chicken, 2 kinds of sausage, pork ribs, beef ribs, lamb chops, steak, a pineapple palate cleanser and 2 kinds of filet mignon. We tried about half of all that.
I kept trying to take pictures of this group that was sitting near us but instead captured bad photos of mom.
Then mom and I went to the casino where I lost $160 in about 10 minutes. Still $60 up but it wasn't pretty. My reckless betting i guess. Maybe better luck tonight.
Today (and tomorrow) we are at sea so there's nowhere to be and no beach :( but it is another beautiful day.
Oh and here's a photo with dad and our friend Richard who we met on the ferry yesterday. He and wife Jenny have been married 60 years!!!!!!
Also the requisite towel critters appear every night. Mom and dad's was relaxed pose with legs crossed. Could have been a yoga pose! Mine was wearing my sunglasses.

St George and tobacco bay
Today we take the ferry to st. George and hit the beach at tobacco bay. Very tranquil bash but beautiful rock formations and great! Snorkeling. Literally millions of fish (Jeff you would go nuts).
We head back and I hang in the wheelhouse with the captain and crew. Forgot that poor dad and mom are SWEATING on deck while I get my flirt on. Oh well.
Here are some scenic photos and a "free range" beach bum of a rooster.
Oh of course we buy MORE coconut milk and coconut water. Ahhh the healing elixer!!!!
Tonight we set sail to head back. We're going to the Brazilian steak place or as I like to call it "meat on a stick"
Tomorrow and Thursday are sail days so no beach :(

Evening activities
Nights antics are about hanging with our Philippine friends and talking about orthodonture, migraines, muscle testing and the power of coconut!
There's a pool party so we go to that but we are saving ourselves for dancing to other music. It's lots of line dancing tonight.
We see some people we saw eaier. They remind me of the "big people" (remember Chrissy???) as they are both 6+feet and you feel like a liliputian next to them
Chrissy from earlier I didn't finish saying barracuda grill is recommended by the folks we were sharing a cab with.
Tomorrow we are planning to go to st. George's. Beach and history. Then we leave Bermuda around 5 :(

Horseshoe bay
Another beautiful day here in Bermuda. Today we all started with a little exercise. Then we took the ferry to Hamilton.
Dad's coconut milk went bad so we were in search for that and I realized tha there's always some kooky health thing we are in search for on these trips, in Alaska it was white crystals and cinnamon every day. On the enchanting Danube it was some crazy supplement I can't think of the name of and this trip it's coconut oil and coconut milk and we even had some coconut water today.
Thing is it should always be difficult too find this stuff because we spend the entire trip in search of whatever it is. Buyer find coconut milk on the first attempt. It hardly seems even sporting! The only problem -- the can has mno pull top and we have no can opener so we'll have to see how that goes.
We pass by barracuda grill which
So then it's off to horseshoe bay beach. Crowded. But water amazing again!
After returning to the ship mom and I head out to the town here in the dockyard to putz around the shops but not before my sunglasses get caught in my hair and we almost have to cut it out.
Dad had drinks and visit with Marshall while we were out.

Spa experoence
Dads been making the most of the gym and spa. Although I think he's got some work to do to get his money's worth on the steam package. Today it was acupuncture. The guy thought it was kind of weird that I wanted to take a pic. You can barely see the needle sticking in his forehead. I'll let you know how it works out!!!
Elbow beach day
Here's a progress report from today so far.... Mom and dad went to the gym 1st thing They are such over achievers Then we went to church. There's a priest from newton on board so we joined about 50 others for mass in a function room. It was very low key.
Went to elbow beach via taxi. I tried to Lie and say we were with the resort but the guy called me on it. So we went down tithe public beach which was equally beautiful. Water was absolutely amazing. Crystal clear, warm, nice waves, sugar sand. I didn't to ice any pink sand but will be on the look out.
We lunched at mickey's on the beach. Dad and I changed and decided to both go commando because mom was the only one who had the good sense to bring a change of clothes.
We shared a cab with a couple going to the fairmont. Kenny the taxi driver is full of stories of hard luck. Each one starts with "I had some bad luck" and ends with "a woman". I told him it seems he should stay away from women.
Back on the ship m & I have a cocktail. Dad made an acupuncture appointment (what the what) and I am hoping to grab a photo of him with needles in his back..
Tonight we are dining in the main dining room and then there are oldies playing so there's Lund to be some most excellent dancing!
